Mid-Level Transactions Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a corporate associate with 4-6 years of relevant experience to join the Transactions Practice Group in Washington, DC. This role focuses on U.S. and cross-border M&A transactions, ideal for a professional comfortable overseeing matters with limited supervision and working directly with partners, senior associates, and clients. Duties Represent clients in complex corporate matters, including private equity M&A and mid-market M&A. Engage in venture financings, securities, and general corporate governance. Draft and negotiate transaction documents. Develop and maintain client relationships. Requirements 4-6 years of relevant experience in corporate law. Strong drafting and communication skills. Business development aptitude and excellent interpersonal skills. Positive attitude and exceptional work ethic. Education J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications Active member in good standing of the bar in the jurisdiction(s) where admitted to practice. Skills Experience with private equity M&A and mid-market M&A.
