Role Overview As a B2B Outside Sales Representative for the Genius® team, you will bring innovative payment solutions directly to business owners, driving revenue growth and improving their day‑to‑day operations. Responsibilities Drive new business growth by creating opportunities through field outreach, digital engagement, and local networking. Own the full sales cycle, turning conversations into revenue and delivering consistent results in your territory. Build trusted relationships with business owners, positioning yourself as a go‑to advisor who understands their goals. Deliver compelling, value‑driven presentations that show how Genius® improves operations, increases loyalty, and fuels growth. Shape your territory strategy using market insights, strengthening your pipeline and accelerating deal momentum. Expand Global Payments’ impact by introducing innovative solutions that help businesses operate smarter and grow faster. Strengthen long‑term client value by identifying opportunities to expand solutions and deepen relationships. Spending up to 75% of your time in the field to create meaningful, face‑to‑face connections that drive results. Influence decision‑making and bring the power of Genius® to life for businesses across your market. Qualifications At least one year of success in B2B or B2C outside sales, with a track record of delivering results. Strong ability to communicate, present, and negotiate in person and virtually. Confidence in building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners. Competitive, self‑driven mindset with energy to achieve and exceed goals. Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes. Valid driver’s license and willingness to spend up to 75% of time in the field. Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive. Preferred two full years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services, or SaaS. Proven ability to upsell and cross‑sell existing merchants on new features, software add‑ons, and hardware upgrades (bonus). Experience working with the restaurant or retail industries is a plus.
