Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, tailoring your approach to the developmental stages and cultural contexts of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect evidence-based practices and address the unique needs of each client.

• Provide therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, and family therapy to support emotional health in young individuals.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with child psychiatrists and other professionals involved in the care of your clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support for mental health emergencies, ensuring timely responses to urgent needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies to empower them in the healing process.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in our electronic health record (EHR) system to uphold compliance with all legal requirements.

• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development sessions to enhance your practice and share valuable insights.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents navigating a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will provide support not only to the young individuals but also to their families, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental wellness that integrates family dynamics into therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with therapeutic modalities tailored for this age group.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and family therapy, demonstrating your capability to support diverse family structures.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an empathetic and child-centered approach to therapy.

• Ability to establish rapport and trust with clients and their families, fostering open communication and collaboration.

• Proficiency in navigating electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms to document sessions and manage patient data effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required, candidates with additional experience working with diverse populations, particularly within telehealth environments, will be highly regarded. Experience with crisis intervention techniques is also a plus, as this role involves managing urgent situations for young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
