Work Environment

This is an onsite position within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. You will collaborate closely with a team that currently comprises two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) to create a nurturing and effective atmosphere for rehabilitation. Our environment is designed to facilitate healing, including specialized equipment and therapy areas to support diverse patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to accurately identify their specific goals and treatment needs.
• Manage a patient caseload, delivering individualized therapy sessions at a rate of one patient per hour to provide focused attention and care.
• Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans to facilitate improvements in patients' range of motion and overall mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic modalities to enhance the effectiveness of treatment protocols.
• Encourage patients to pursue non-invasive treatment options, aiming to reduce reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Design and promote tailored wellness and fitness programs that align with each patient's rehabilitation objectives.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Serve as a motivational guide for patients, encouraging them to engage in their recovery process and maximize their functional abilities.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for every patient.
• Evaluate and monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans on an ongoing basis, adjusting approaches as necessary to meet each patient's evolving needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, providing care that targets their unique rehabilitation needs. Your compassionate and tailored approach will be essential in helping these patients successfully navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A master's degree or doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions taken against your physical therapy license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Exceptional skills in creating and executing individualized exercise protocols to meet patients' needs.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Comfortable managing a diverse caseload and adapting treatment plans based on evolving patient requirements and feedback.
• Proven ability to foster patient relationships, enhancing motivation and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
