Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of diverse clients, establishing rapport, and forming positive therapeutic relationships while upholding the highest ethical standards.

• Conducting regular client sessions to assess therapeutic progress, stability, and future appointments and planning for discharges when appropriate.
\n
• Creating, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Maintaining up-to-date documentation and progress notes for all clients in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Carrying out intake assessments to determine initial treatment approaches for new clients.
\n
• Facilitating individual therapy sessions weekly, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.

• Engaging in regular supervision sessions for professional development and support.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and holistically address client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on youth mental health. Your role will require sensitivity and skill in addressing the unique challenges faced by young clients, such as anxiety, depression, and various behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• The ability to meet the requirements for internal credentialing in accordance with applicable clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
