CTR Group is seeking several Certified Weld Inspectors in Fort Worth, TX. Immediate openings and urgently hiring! Pay Rate: $31.50 per Hour with Benefits.

Safety First! We are seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) to support quality assurance for large, heavy steel assemblies in a high-volume fabrication environment. This role ensures weld quality, compliance with applicable codes, and adherence to customer and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual weld inspections on structural and heavy steel components
• Verify compliance with welding codes, procedures, and project specifications
• Review WPS/PQR documentation and ensure welders follow approved procedures
• Conduct dimensional inspections and verify fit-up prior to welding
• Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions
• Work closely with production, welding, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
• Maintain accurate records for audits and customer reporting
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to weld quality and fabrication processes

Required Qualifications:

• Active CWI certification (required)
• 3–5 years of experience inspecting heavy steel weldments
• Strong knowledge of AWS D1.1 or similar structural welding codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
