Licensed Specialist In School PsychologyParticipate in the SST and referral process. Facilitate completion of the Full and Individual Evaluation for referred students. Perform psychological services in assessment, behavior management, and counseling for students. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.Master's degree in psychology from an accredited college or universityValid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School PsychologyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of procedures for assessing academic achievement, cognitive abilities, and emotional and behavioral functioning for educational purposesKnowledge of academic and behavior prevention and intervention strategiesKnowledge of psycho-social development and learning theoryStrong consultation skills for conferencing with teachers, parents, and studentsKnowledge of counseling theory and techniquesMinimum of 2 years' experience providing diagnostic or counseling services in an educational setting preferredConduct Full and Individual Evaluations for referred students including psychological and psychoeducational portions.Select and administer assessments and observations to evaluate academic, intellectual, emotional, and behavioral functions of referred students according to federal, state, and district guidelines.Provide individual and group counseling sessions and psychological services to students.Score and interpret test data based on district's current guidelines.Conduct functional Behavior Assessments and facilitate drafting and implementing behavior intervention plans.Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to assist with appropriate placement and development of Individual Education Plans (IEP).Exhibit CCISD Core Values of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.Research district policy, precedent, and current practices prior to taking action.Participate as an effective team member who contributes to district, department, and content goals.Demonstrates proficient levels of technology applications.Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.Utilize time wisely for effective management of job responsibilities.Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.Effective verbal and written communication; ability to maintain concentration while performing duties; ability to maintain emotional control under stress.Moderate standing, walking, bending, lifting; district-wide travelTerms: 192 daysStipened: $7,000
