Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized therapy plans for clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide group, family, and individual therapy sessions, adapting your approach to meet the diverse needs of clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to optimize care for each client.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay current with the latest trends and research in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Many of our clients come from backgrounds that have limited access to mental health resources, making your role vital in providing them with the support and guidance they need to overcome obstacles and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, with a strong preference for clinical experience.

• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with a diverse client population.

• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

• A solid understanding of legal and ethical practices in mental health care.
