Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying a manageable caseload of clients, forging positive therapeutic relationships by practicing active listening and empathy while maintaining professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular check-ins with clients to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and prepare for upcoming sessions or discharge as warranted.
\n
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments tailored to each client's circumstances.
\n
• Keeping meticulous, up-to-date documentation and progress notes for each client in accordance with organizational policies.
\n
• Administering thorough intake assessments to ensure the highest quality of care and establishing baseline for treatment.
\n
• Holding individual therapy sessions several times a week, both virtually and in-office when necessary, focusing on evidence-based practices.

• Engaging in ongoing supervision and collaboration with fellow healthcare providers to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth and young adults who are experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. In addition to individual therapy, you will have opportunities to work with clients from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate life's obstacles and empowering them to achieve personal growth and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
\n
• Clear ability to meet internal credentialing requirements relevant to clinical settings.

• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or addressing substance abuse challenges.

• Demonstrated experience with assessment, diagnosis, and delivering both individual and group therapy interventions.

• Proficiency in using computer systems and basic keyboarding skills for electronic documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
