Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain a manageable caseload of clients, ensuring that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their distinct circumstances and goals.

• Establish strong therapeutic relationships by engaging in active listening, empathy, and open communication while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining appropriate boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions to monitor progress, reassess treatment plans, and facilitate discharge processes when clients achieve their goals.

• Develop, implement, and revise person-centered treatment plans that prioritize the individual needs of clients.

• Document client interactions and progress thoroughly, ensuring all records comply with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards.

• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine the needs and eligibility of new clients seeking services.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, employing evidence-based practices to support clients in dealing with psychiatric challenges.

• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and ensure best practices are implemented in client care.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and medical professionals, to provide holistic care to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily caters to youth dealing with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and substance use disorders. You'll be instrumental in creating safe spaces for young individuals to express their feelings and navigate through their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements specific to the mental health setting.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations is essential.

• Experience with assessment, diagnosis, and treatment through individual and group therapy modalities is preferred.

• Proficient computer skills are necessary, including familiarity with electronic health records and basic documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
