The successful candidate will be entrusted with providing evidence-based therapy services aimed at addressing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD.

This remote position offers the flexibility to manage your schedule while engaging in meaningful work to support mental health challenges. Our team operates in an outpatient office model with a strong emphasis on collaboration and continuous learning. You will have access to telehealth technology, including SimplePractice for maintaining client records and scheduling sessions, which simplifies the counseling workflow and allows for effective patient management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs through face-to-face virtual consultations, developing tailored treatment plans to promote effective therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage clients in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster healing and resilience.

• Work collaboratively with clients to set realistic therapeutic goals, continually evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
\n
• Document all client interactions and progress accurately and confidentially within SimplePractice, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
\n
• Cooperate with other healthcare providers as needed to coordinate comprehensive care for your clients, ensuring they receive holistic support.

• Stay informed about developments in the field of mental health counseling through ongoing training and continuing education opportunities.
\n
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 therapy sessions weekly, with the capacity to grow this to approximately 25 sessions per week.

• Participate in regular marketing initiatives, including collaboration on maintaining a compelling Psychology Today profile.
\n
• Attend weekly case review meetings to discuss therapeutic approaches and ensure the delivery of quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve at Legacy Counseling will encompass a wide range of ages and backgrounds, with particular focus on individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, PTSD, and ADHD. Our clientele often includes people of color, and our counseling approaches are tailored to honor their diverse experiences. As a counselor in this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a healing environment that respects the cultural richness of the individuals you work with.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• A valid and current Pennsylvania state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A minimum of 3 years of direct experience providing counseling services, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective relationships with clients.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while contributing to a dynamic team atmosphere.

Compensation and Benefits\n
