Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs to inform clinical decisions and appropriate treatment strategies.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and collaboratively adjust them as needed to ensure optimum support.
\n
• Document clinical progress meticulously, including medical and psychological histories, physical assessment results, diagnoses, treatment plans, referrals, and outcomes.
\n
• Engage with clients through telehealth sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health issues.
\n
• Coordinate care with other professionals within our organization and external service providers to facilitate comprehensive support for clients and their families.
\n
• Educate clients about psychosocial stressors and empower them with coping strategies, facilitating healthier life choices and behaviors.
\n
• Work effectively within a crisis-driven environment to provide immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress related to substance abuse, domestic violence, trauma, and other mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will largely focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds facing different mental health challenges. A significant part of your role will involve working with families to help them navigate complex psycho-social issues, building meaningful connections and trust to facilitate their healing and progress.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.
\n
• A valid clinical license in California, such as Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven record of providing counseling services to a diverse population, exhibiting cultural competence and empathy.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience in a remote therapeutic environment is preferred, as well as familiarity with telehealth platforms and tools. Candidates who have worked in crisis scenarios or have a background in handling substance abuse issues, domestic violence, and trauma cases will stand out in the application process.

Compensation and Benefits\n
