Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of client needs and goals.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to facilitate therapeutic progress.

• Conduct regular follow-up assessments to adjust treatment approaches and ensure the most effective interventions are in place.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and enhance client outcomes, participating in case conferences and team meetings as required.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as training, workshops, and webinars to stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health services, addressing a wide spectrum of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and your ability to establish rapport and trust will be crucial in providing effective care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, preferably in a clinical environment, demonstrating a strong therapeutic approach.
