Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Atlantic Health P.C., your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations on a regular basis to identify individual patient needs and lead them towards effective treatment options.

• Facilitating communication among supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed about patient progress and necessary adjustments in care.
\n
• Drafting and sharing schedules with supervisors for appointment arrangements, home visits, and observations aimed at tracking the advancement of treatment plans.
\n
• Coordinating in-home visits to collect data through chart reviews, staff interviews, and direct observations to maintain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s situation.
\n
• Implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of program plans and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
\n
• Participating actively in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and contributing insights within relevant discussions.
\n
• Documenting monthly and quarterly progress notes to maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment adjustments.
\n
• Organizing training sessions to enhance the skills of staff and team members regarding program plans and documentation requirements.
\n
• Providing ongoing support through follow-up interviews and home visits to assess and respond to evolving client needs.
\n
• Maintaining comprehensive records that facilitate access to pertinent information for authorized parties.
\n
• Acting as a connection between the public, mental health community, and the organization to aid in development goals related to mental health outreach.

• Assisting in improving program outcomes by creating and refining training materials for staff.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• At least two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical context.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While the above qualifications are essential, preference will be given to candidates with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma counseling. Relevant certifications highlighting advanced therapeutic techniques will also be considered an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 100,000 per year, contingent on experience and caseload.
