This role will be performed through our fully remote telehealth platform, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home while enjoying the flexibility this modern approach offers. Our practice is open seven days a week from 7 AM to 10 PM, emphasizing our commitment to making counseling services available when patients need them most.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patient histories and identify appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies, ensuring each client's unique needs are met.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work in collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses the comprehensive needs of each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring clients receive the necessary assistance in critical moments.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, compliant, and confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, case consultations, and structured team meetings to improve trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to continually enhance treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Illinois is essential.

• Strong foundational knowledge in trauma-related disorders, alongside familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated by a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team, supporting both colleagues and clients.

• Proficient with electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications, streamlining administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing therapy to couples is highly desirable; however, training will be provided for interested candidates.

• A self-driven determination to complete clinical documentation within 24 hours, enhancing workflow efficiency.
