Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, families, couples, and groups, focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams in case discussions to provide holistic care for clients, collaborating with other mental health professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.

• Participate actively in professional development workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay updated on emerging mental health research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCPC at Insightful Mindscape Center, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Many of our clients come from underserved communities, and your role will be vital in bridging the gap in care for those with limited access to mental health resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Maryland.

• At least two years of demonstrated experience in counseling, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in clinical settings.

• Solid understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with a wide range of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specializations in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse therapy are highly desirable.

• Experience working in integrated healthcare settings or familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
