Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients, identifying areas of concern and developing personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, tailored to the unique needs of individuals, families, and groups.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, ensuring a safe space for clients to express themselves while guiding them towards sustained emotional health and empowerment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with state laws and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.

• Engage in professional development opportunities and workshops to remain informed about the latest research and methodologies in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will provide counseling services to a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families. Our patients often struggle with limited access to care, facing challenges such as trauma, substance misuse, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues. Your role will be instrumental in developing effective treatment strategies that not only address symptoms but also foster resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
