Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering positive, trust-based relationships that adhere to professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular progress meetings with clients to monitor their stability, assess ongoing needs, schedule appointments, and recommend discharge planning when appropriate.

• Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that address the unique emotional and psychological needs of each client.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including detailed progress notes and records for each session, in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate client needs and determine suitable treatment options.

• Conduct a targeted number of individual counseling sessions weekly, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality care.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is primarily on youth and young adults who experience a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience working with psychiatric patients and/or youth facing substance abuse challenges.
