Work Environment\n

This position supports a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while ensuring that counselors can maintain meaningful contact with clients. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some potential adjustments to accommodate patients' needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify client needs, challenges, and strengths, leading to the formulation of personalized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health issues and fostering community connection.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to ensure holistic patient care and integrated treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention support as needed, ensuring clients receive timely and effective assistance during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, demonstrating adherence to best practices.

• Engage actively in case consultations, contribute ideas during team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid LPCC licensure in the state of California.

• Demonstrated competence in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse patient population.

• Strong ethical judgment and professional integrity when interacting with clients and colleagues.

• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
