Data Engineer IIKwik Trip's Data Engineering team is growing! We're looking for a Data Engineer II who thrives on solving complex data challenges and building scalable infrastructure. If you're passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.What You'll DoBuild, test, and maintain robust data pipelines and architecturesDevelop real-time integrations and troubleshoot data infrastructure issuesEvaluate and implement emerging data technologiesCreate and maintain technical documentation and data flow diagramsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiativesAnalyze data for trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunitiesSupport data transformation, metadata management, and workload orchestrationWhat You'll Bring2–5 years of experience as a Data EngineerBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fieldAdvanced SQL skills and experience with relational and big data databasesProficiency in Python and Spark based data engineeringExperience with ELT/ETL tools like SSIS, ADF, Apache Spark Delta Live tablesFamiliarity with Databricks, Snowflake, Terraform and stream processing technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in team settingsExcellent communication skillsBonus PointsExperience with natural language processing or statistical modelingFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and source control best practicesWork Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hoursKwik Trip, Inc. is a family-owned, Midwest company, in operation since 1965.
