This role focuses on delivering consultative energy solutions—including natural gas, electricity, and related services—to commercial and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, sales acumen, and a passion for building long-term partnerships.**Essential Duties:*** Participate in comprehensive training programs designed to equip Account Executives with proven sales strategies and industry expertise* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new prospects and existing clients* Present competitive renewal proposals to retain and grow commercial accounts* Stay informed on energy market trends, tariffs, and regulatory changes affecting natural gas and electricity supply* Conduct volume analysis and deliver customized savings reports to clients* Generate sales activity reports to assess growth opportunities and pipeline performance* Collaborate across departments and contribute to broader organizational initiatives* Engage with potential clients and referral sources in deregulated energy markets across multiple states* Take on additional tasks and strategic projects as needed to support business goals**Qualifications****Required Background:*** Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or;* Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.* Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.* Proven track record in B2B sales, energy consulting, or account management preferred**Explore the Possibilities**South Jersey Industries employs a diverse range of talent – from construction contractors to environmental specialists.
