A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) interested in supporting students across multiple campuses in the Houston area (southwest side). This full-time, on-site contract role focuses on delivering skilled occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of students ages 3 to 21, within a defined zone based on your ZIP code. You will work with approximately 6-7 schools, utilizing the district office as your home base and traveling within your assigned area as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and active Texas OT license
• Eligibility for state fingerprinting and background check
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience required; experienced COTAs will also be considered
• Proficiency in conducting evaluations and participating in ARDS/IEP meetings
• Strong documentation skills (use of SHARES and Onward systems, as well as tracking via Excel logs)
• Must not be a former employee of the district or previously terminated from any school district

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students, with 30-40 receiving direct services and the remainder on consultative support
• Rotate service schedules (not all students are seen weekly), focusing on effective intervention and treatment only
• Attend and contribute to ARD meetings and IEP planning
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance with district guidelines
• Serve as the lead OT for your assigned zone, with full autonomy and responsibility for your schools
