Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices.

• Monitor client progress through regular assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance effectiveness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards by ensuring accurate and confidential documentation of patient records.

• Engage in case consultations and staff meetings, actively contributing to the multidisciplinary team’s growth and effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals grappling with a variety of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and related conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding clients through their therapeutic journey and helping them develop coping strategies and skills for long-term resilience. Additionally, you will have opportunities to extend your support to marginalized groups, including homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse.

Qualifications\n
