Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their individual needs and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, providing guidance on treatment options and effective self-care techniques.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to deliver integrated care.

• Stay current with research and advancements in mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case reviews, professional development workshops, and team meetings to foster a collaborative work environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes those experiencing a range of mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. In particular, we aim to provide robust support to vulnerable populations including individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. As an LMFT at Health Journey Wellness, you will play a crucial role in facilitating recovery and resilience within these diverse communities.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
