Sales Director - Investment Management Platform

Leading FinTech and Data Management Hedge Fund Software company seeks entrepreneurial Sales Director/ Head of Sales N.A. to drive new business development, manage strategic client relationships and expand footprint across hedge funds, asset managers, fund administrators and prime brokers. This is an individual contributor role – the successful candidate will be an experienced, senior level salesperson with a strong network of relationships in the buy-side and prime brokerage channel/ ecosystem - with a successful track record selling enterprise data management, investment operations, middle-office, trading software or financial technology platforms - with typical deal sizes in the ~$200k-750k ARR range. Experience selling hedge fund data management solutions, order management software (OMS), middle office platforms or similar financial / investment management technology, through prime broker channels (eg. JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs ) into hedge funds, asset managers and service providers is a plus. Must have experience selling enterprise financial technology, data management, middle-office, investment operations, or related platforms. Responsibilities Generate new sales opportunities through personal relationships, partner channels, referral networks, and targeted outbound sales Sell data management, front and middle office solutions/ products into large hedge funds, asset managers, fund administrators, prime brokers and financial services providers. Build and maintain senior relationships with hedge fund COOs, CFOs, CTOs, Heads of Operations, Heads of Data, and other key decision-makers. Develop strong referral networks with Prime Brokerage consulting teams, Fund Administrators, Financial Technology Consultants and other service providers to hedge funds and asset managers. Manage strategic client relationships after initial sale. Own the commercial sales process from initial relationship development through proposal, negotiation, and close. Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts. Work strategically with marketing, product and founders to help refine messaging, competitive positioning, and sales collateral. Requirements 10+ years of enterprise sales, business development, relationship management, or relevant commercial experience in financial technology or investment operations. Demonstrated personal track record closing enterprise deals Proven relationships within hedge funds, asset managers, prime brokers, fund administrators, or related financial services organizations. Strong relationships with prime brokerage consulting teams, especially at Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and J.P. Morgan highly preferred. Strong understanding of how large investment managers evaluate and purchase data management, workflow, integration, or operations technology. Ability to operate successfully in a founder-led, entrepreneurial environment. Willingness to personally prospect, build relationships, follow up, and close business.
