Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, working with diverse students in a supportive setting near Aurora, CO. This onsite, contract role offers the chance to collaborate with other professionals while directly impacting children’s communication skills and success throughout the new school year.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license for Colorado or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and intervention skills related to speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Comfort providing services onsite in a school environment, working 37.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students aged PreK–12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services, adapting methods for diverse learning styles and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress and educational outcomes
- Document sessions, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide guidance and support for classroom modifications and communication strategies
