- Provide clinical care in general practice, dentistry, and routine surgery while modeling high standards of medicine and client communication
- Lead, coach, and develop associate veterinarians; support credentialed technicians and assistants in a collaborative, inclusive environment
- Set and uphold clinical quality through medical record reviews, case discussions, audits, and patient-safety initiatives
- Champion preventive care and consistent care pathways to ensure safe, effective, timely, efficient, equitable, and client-centered medicine
- Partner with practice management to drive hospital performance, client experience, and operational KPIs
- Oversee onboarding and skills development for new doctors; provide hands-on coaching in clinical, surgical, and dental competencies
- Participate in recruiting and serve as a positive presence within the local veterinary community and student programs
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including controlled substance stewardship and pharmacy standards
- Support equipment oversight and medical inventory planning in partnership with leadership Requirements
- DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
- Current license (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Ohio
- Eligibility to work in the United States
