Bookkeeper

Now hiring for an Indianapolis Bookkeeper. Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements. Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Prepare basic financial reports for leadership. Manage payroll data entry and coordinate with payroll providers. Monitor cash flow and flag discrepancies. Assist with month end close tasks. Organize and maintain financial documents for audits and tax preparation. Qualifications Must have 1-2 years or more of experience reconciling bank accounts, balancing statements, processing AP/AR invoices and auditing accounting filesSolid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping. Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable. Accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and handle sensitive financial information. High School Diploma required. Associate degree or bookkeeping certificate often preferred. Competence in Excel, including formulas and spreadsheet organization.
