About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night and Day Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for required License: Permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Must have at least 12 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for. - Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission. - Required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission. Description: Registered Nurse position available in a Med/Surg Tele unit. The role includes the potential to float to various units to care for a similar patient population. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs, with rotating night and day shifts. Traveler must work at least every other holiday. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required. Candidates must not have any open cases related to background checks. All travelers must be nicotine-free, except for nurses and CSTs who have a temporary exemption. The successful candidate will be subject to annual competency requirements. Modules are required to be completed pre-start and annually. Completion of the required competencies is necessary to maintain scheduling compliance.
