Heart & Listen Clinical Counseling is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. This full-time position allows you to work remotely while providing essential mental health services to individuals and families within the Camden, New Jersey community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop tailored therapy strategies that address their unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic approaches, and solution-focused strategies.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere for discussion and growth.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care plans and address the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality and security of client records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, trainings, and peer consultation to stay current with advancements in mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with diverse clients from various backgrounds, primarily those who face significant barriers to accessing mental health services. This includes individuals and families experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use concerns. Your role will be pivotal in fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness within the Camden community.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling settings is required.
• Strong knowledge of, and adherence to, ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capability to function collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or additional training in family therapy, couple's counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse is highly desirable.
• Experience implementing innovative therapy techniques suited for diverse populations.
• History of active involvement in community outreach initiatives or mental health education efforts.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
