Remote Lead Project Manager

To support the VA ESOM contract, the full-time Remote Lead Project Manager will provide full-lifecycle IT project management support, oversee a team of 22 Project Managers, and ensure adherence to PMP standards and VA procedures while working remotely within the United States. Key responsibilities Conduct all phases of project management initiation, planning, execution, and closeout consistent with PMP standards and VA procedures Develop and maintain detailed project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and deliverables-based project schedules Monitor project milestones and critical dates, identifying potential schedule jeopardy and developing resolutions Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific/technical discipline 10+ years of program or project management experience managing IT-related projects PMP or equivalent project management certification Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating large project management teams in complex IT environments Demonstrated proficiency in project and life-cycle management methodologies Virtual Vocations Inc
