Century Builders is seeking an experienced Construction Scheduler to support the delivery of mission critical construction projects. This role will develop, maintain, and analyze integrated master project schedules across design, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning.

The Construction Scheduler will partner with project leadership, field teams, design and procurement teams, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and owner representatives to identify schedule risks, protect critical milestones, and develop recovery strategies when needed.

This is a remote position with travel to project sites as needed. The role is not tied to a single project and may support multiple mission critical projects within Century Builders’ Mission Critical Division.

• Base salary of up to $140,000 per year, depending on relevant experience, certifications, qualifications, and internal compensation guidelines.

• Develop and maintain integrated master project schedules in Primavera P6 across design, procurement, construction, startup, and commissioning.

• Build and maintain critical path method logic, Work Breakdown Structures, baseline schedules, look ahead schedules, and schedule updates.

• Monitor critical path activities, near critical activities, float, constraints, and key milestone dates; communicate variances to project leadership.

• Analyze schedule impacts and recommend mitigation and recovery strategies in coordination with project teams and trade partners.

• Coordinate schedule development and updates with project managers, superintendents, engineers, procurement teams, commissioning teams, and subcontractors.

• Review contractor and subcontractor schedules for logic, completeness, sequencing, resource assumptions, and alignment with project goals.

• Facilitate regular schedule review meetings and distribute weekly schedule updates and reports.

• Support monthly reporting, including narrative updates, risk analysis, milestone status, critical path summaries, and recovery plans.

• Support change management, delay analysis, claims documentation, and owner schedule reporting by providing schedule updates, impact analyses, time related documentation, and supporting narratives.

• Identify schedule risks and developing delays and communicate potential impacts to project leadership.

• Maintain accurate schedule records, updates, narratives, and supporting documentation in accordance with company and project requirements.

• Perform other scheduling and project controls duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of construction scheduling experience, with 7+ years preferred, supporting commercial, industrial, mission critical, or other complex construction projects.

• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6.

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method methodology, schedule logic, and critical path analysis.

• Experience developing, updating, and analyzing integrated construction schedules.

• Experience coordinating schedule information across project managers, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, procurement teams, commissioning teams, and other project stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.

• Ability to coordinate effectively across multiple project stakeholders and work in a fast paced project environment.

• Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

• Experience with data center, mission critical, commercial, industrial, healthcare, semiconductor, or other complex construction projects.

• Experience with MEP intensive sequencing, phased turnover, commissioning, and fast track project delivery.

• Experience reviewing subcontractor schedules and developing schedule recovery plans.

• Experience supporting change management, delay analysis, claims documentation, and owner schedule reporting.

• Experience with BIM coordination, Procore, Power BI, or other project controls, scheduling, and construction management tools.

• Experience developing schedule narratives, risk reports, milestone reports, critical path summaries, and recovery plans.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or a related field.

• Professional certifications or training in project controls, scheduling, construction management, or a related discipline.

• This is a remote position that requires travel to Century Builders’ mission critical project sites as needed.

• The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday.

• Additional hours may be required during key construction, turnover, or commissioning milestones.

• Travel frequency and duration may vary based on project requirements.

• This position is not tied to a single project site and may support multiple mission critical projects.

• Travel related expenses, including mileage, lodging, airfare, and per diem, will be covered or reimbursed as applicable in accordance with company policy.
