Not every Director role is created equal. This one is with is a well-regarded Western NY transportation consulting firm with a strong regional presence and an autonomous office culture. You'll report directly to the most senior leader in the region, with the authority to shape how work gets delivered, not just manage the flow of it.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead department operations, client growth, and project delivery across transportation projects
- Mentor project managers on scope, budgets, staffing, and execution
- Support teams working on state, county and municipal projects, including those tied to federally funded local programs
- Help ensure projects are delivered consistently across teams, particularly as requirements and stakeholders vary by agency
- Build client relationships and support proposal strategy and business development efforts
About You
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in NY or ability to obtain one;
- 15 years experience
- Understanding of local, county, and state transportation project requirements
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and driving alignment across projects
- Able to mentor teams while also supporting client relationships and growth
