Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education techniques.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Provide education and supportive resources for patients and their caregivers regarding home exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, regularly communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Strive to meet predetermined utilization goals and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to treat a diverse patient population ranging from orthopedic and pediatric cases to those requiring neurologic rehabilitation and sports medicine therapy. This variety allows you to utilize and develop a broad skill set, ensuring each patient's unique needs are met during their recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience post-graduation.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification from an accredited provider like the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex information to patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems to maintain accurate patient records.
• Ability to establish and nurture strong therapeutic relationships with patients, motivating them to surpass their functional goals.
• A passion for community engagement and building positive relationships throughout the local healthcare landscape.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in home health settings or outpatient clinics is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies and rehabilitation technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
