Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and therapeutic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse client populations including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Employ various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists and social workers to provide coordinated and holistic care for clients.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with legal obligations and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay informed of advances in mental health practices and interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families who may face significant barriers to accessing mental health services, including those dealing with trauma, substance misuse, or emotional distress. Your role will be instrumental in promoting mental wellness and aiding clients in managing their mental health challenges effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, including a deep understanding of mental health challenges faced by diverse populations.

• Proven knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
