Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Hamburg, New York

This engaging role is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a meaningful impact during an Extended School Year (ESY) program, running from July 6 to August 14, with daily hours from 8:15 AM to 2:15 PM. You'll work with diverse K-12 students, providing vital speech and language services in a collaborative school environment near Hamburg, NY.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathology license for New York
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
• Experience with pediatric and/or K-12 school-aged populations preferred
• Familiarity with school-based IEP processes, therapy documentation, and progress tracking
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group speech-language therapy to K-12 students
• Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support each student's communication goals
• Conduct assessments, track progress, and contribute to the IEP process
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation aligned with school and state regulations
• Participate actively in meetings and planning sessions with the educational team
