Project Accountant (Construction)

Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 + bonus

Key Responsibilities for the Project Accountant:
- Own full project accounting lifecycle from bid through closeout
- Track costs, revenue, and project progress across 8–10 active construction projects
- Manage AIA billing, change orders, subcontractor payments, and lien waivers
- Partner with project managers to translate operational updates into financial reporting
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and control of all project-related financial activity
Qualifications for the Project Accountant:
- 5+ years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction
- Strong knowledge of AIA billing, requisitions, and subcontractor processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Experience managing financials across multiple concurrent projects
Location: Baldwin, NY – On-site; local candidate only (steps from LIRR Baldwin Station)
Schedule: On-site, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
