TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a large, urban hospital License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: Must have experience with drips and EPIC charting Must be able to float frequently within the facility as needed Must be nicotine-free Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. This position requires a commitment of 36 or 48 hours per week. The contract options include 13 or 26 weeks. Travelers will be first to float as needed to meet staffing requirements. RNs should be prepared to float frequently as per the facility's needs. This role requires management of drips, including Nitro, Heparin, Insulin, and others. Experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias is essential. RNs will participate in Rapid Response and Code teams. RNs will work in a 100% nicotine-free environment. Weekend shifts will include four weekends within an eight-week period, including Saturday and Sunday. Travelers must work two out of three major holidays. RTO requests are permitted upon application submission. Applicants must be more than 100 miles from the facility and cannot be local. Pending licenses will be accepted, but the license must be in hand within six weeks of the contract start. Scrubs are mandatory, and a uniform will be provided. Experience with patient ratios of 5-6 during the day and 6 during the night is required. Float requirements apply to every shift worked.
