TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 25 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of prior experience required in a large, urban hospital License: Must have an active RN license Certifications: BLS required, ACLS strongly preferred Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required - Experience with drips is required - Ability to float frequently to meet staffing needs Description: Holiday coverage needed. All staff are required to work 2 of the 3 major holidays, which include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. RNs must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. Travelers may be assigned to a sister campus if necessary. All staff must work weekends, with 4 weekend shifts required out of 8 possible in a 4-week period, including Saturday and Sunday nights. Qualified candidates must be 100% nicotine-free. Pending licenses are accepted, but must be in hand at the time of submission. Scrubs are mandatory, and staff will wear designated scrubs with a specific logo. The facility is a reputable acute-care hospital that provides care to complex patients. Interdisciplinary support includes various health teams. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Additional responsibilities may include managing various drips and monitoring patient conditions. Unit support may include various teams such as IV teams and rapid response teams. Candidates must be able to manage cardiac telemetry and related responsibilities. Each contract will end on a Sunday, with a work week running Monday through Sunday. No local candidates will be accepted; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. First-time travelers will not be accepted. Requests for time off must be included upon application and are limited during the initial orientation period. Weekend and holiday work may be unit-dependent. Document submission deadlines will apply as specified. A completely nicotine-free environment is required.
