Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough virtual assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, determining the most effective therapeutic interventions. \n Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals and therapeutic needs. \n Provide ongoing telehealth counseling sessions to clients using secure online platforms, ensuring ease of access and convenience. \n Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to all regulatory and ethical guidelines for mental health practice. \n Engage in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to foster a comprehensive approach to client care. \n Participate in regular supervision and continuing education sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health. \n Actively contribute to team meetings and discussions to improve clinic operations and patient care strategies. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n The clients at Vital Edge Counseling Center come from a variety of backgrounds, including individuals from underrepresented communities facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n \n A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n An active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation in the state of New Jersey. \n A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing counseling services, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with clients. \n Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential to effectively connect with a diverse client population. \n The ability to work autonomously while also thriving in collaborative team environments. \n Proficient in using telehealth platforms and digital communication tools; prior experience in a teletherapy setting is highly preferred. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience working within a community health clinic or similar settings is advantageous. \n Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans. \n Demonstrated understanding of issues related to social determinants of health and their impact on mental health outcomes. \n Compensation and Benefits\n Vital Edge Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
