Key Responsibilities\n As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Family Care LLC, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: \n \n Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: Conduct engaging and therapeutic group sessions, fostering a supportive environment for clients to connect, share experiences, and support each other’s growth. \n Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver personalized counseling tailored to clients’ unique needs, helping them explore their thoughts, emotions, and coping strategies to facilitate personal growth. \n Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate closely with clients to establish individualized and goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their aspirations and challenges. \n Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools to track, evaluate, and document clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy approaches for optimal outcomes. \n Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of professionals, maintaining ongoing communication to ensure comprehensive care and informed decision-making for complex cases. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n This role primarily focuses on young adults aged 18 to 30 who are accessing our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) for mental health support. You will engage with a diverse cohort of clients facing varying challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity issues. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions in a remote setting, you will help these individuals navigate their personal journeys toward wellness and recovery. Qualifications\n \n Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey. \n A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. \n Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential client information. \n Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. \n A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience providing therapy in a telehealth capacity or familiarity with remote counseling platforms. \n Previous work with young adult populations in a clinical or therapeutic setting. \n Demonstrate proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities relevant to mental health. \n Compensation and Benefits\n The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
