CNC Machinist / Prototype Machinist

Qualifications

Prior experience and strong working knowledge of modern machining processes and conventional machining tools.

Experience programming CNC machines, entering design specifications, and ensuring machines perform as required.

Experience planning and creating holding fixtures, selecting cutting tools, and securing materials on shop equipment.

Experience adjusting machine settings to optimize part quality and accuracy.

Working knowledge of current CAD software packages and common file types.
Technical school education preferred, but not required.

10+ years of machine shop experience required.

Experience with manual machine shop equipment, including Bridgeport mills, tool room lathes, and similar machinery.

Experience with TRAC CNC equipment.
Ability to work onsite.
