Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients, providing a safe and confidential environment for discussing their mental health concerns.

• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic frameworks to assist clients in addressing their challenges and working towards their personal goals.

• Practice active listening and empathic engagement, ensuring clients feel heard and valued during sessions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists, to create comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and self-reflection to continuously enhance your skills and effectiveness as a counselor.

• Document client interactions accurately and timely in our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance with clinic policies and regulations.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with youth clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Sensitivity to the unique needs of these young individuals is essential, as you will help them navigate their experiences and foster resilience. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.

• Active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is mandatory.

• A Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) certification is also accepted.

• Minimum of two (2) years of direct experience as a social worker or mental health counselor is required, with five (5) years preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to facilitate effective client interactions and documentation.

• Proficient in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
