Job Description Job Description 2nd Shift Extrusion Operator Machine Operator Location: Addison, IL Pay: $27.50 per hour Shift: 2nd shift Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Entry-Level / 0–2 Years We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production operator to join our manufacturing team in Addison, IL. In this role, you will operate production equipment, assemble and package products, inspect finished goods, and help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient production environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Job Description Operate production equipment according to standard work instructions and procedures. Load and unload materials, components, and finished products. Perform assembly, machine operation, packaging, and other manufacturing activities. Inspect products to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications. Complete production records and documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S Principles. Assist with equipment changeovers and basic machine setup activities. Monitor equipment performance and report operational, quality, or safety concerns. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and work practices. Work with the team to achieve daily production, quality, and efficiency goals Job Requirements Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance. Team player who takes pride in their work. Ability to carefully follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing production needs. Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team High school diploma or GED preferred. 0–2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Experience using hand tools or basic manufacturing equipment is a plus. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
