Key Responsibilities\n

• Schedule your counseling availability autonomously while having the flexibility to adjust as needed.

• Engage with clients through telehealth sessions, employing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

• Provide guidance on community recovery support options such as AA and Smart Recovery, encouraging clients to utilize these resources alongside their treatment.
\n
• Confirm appointment details and process payments for any late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring clients understand their responsibilities.
\n
• Develop treatment plans through a collaborative approach with clients, tailored to their unique goals within a harm-reduction framework.
\n
• Lead optional support groups and contribute to community mental health engagement initiatives.
\n
• Collaborate with our Content Manager to create informative “Expert Insights” that educate and empower our community.
\n
• Participate in peer groups and monthly team meetings to discuss best practices and share insights.
\n
• Access ongoing support from our Clinical Operations and Care Coordination Teams to enhance your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on clients who are seeking to make changes in their drinking behaviors, whether through moderation or complete abstinence. Many of our clients are navigating personal trials and require empathy and support tailored to their unique circumstances. Your expertise will guide them toward a path that integrates therapeutic intervention with available community resources, creating a holistic approach to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California.

• A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

• Demonstrable experience and certification in evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Strong clinical engagement skills with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamics of harm reduction and its application in counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, complemented by additional incentives such as a sign-on bonus.
