Sales Engineer

NY1702529 Sales Engineer Square One Coating Systems is seeking a motivated, results-driver Sales Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for driving business growth, building strong customer relationships, and providing technical expertise to identify and deliver coating system solutions that meet customer needs. Responsibilities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Build and manage strong client relationships. Present products and services to potential customers. Provide technical expertise and recommend coating solutions. Track activities and manage customer accounts in Salesforce. Collaborate with marketing on business development strategies. Negotiate contracts and close sales. Provide technical sales support. Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and uncover new needs. Attend training to improve sales skills and product knowledge. Qualifications: Experience in coatings, sales engineering, or a related industry preferred. Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred. Strong account management and communication skills. Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and present solutions. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify customer needs and deliver value-driven solutions. Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Experience in plating, anodizing, coating, inspection, or metal finishing is a plus, but not required. Job Details: Full time OR part time. Work location: In-person Ability to commute to Oriskany NY 13424 required.
