This position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Newark, New Jersey, where our collaborative approach drives our patient care strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' functional capabilities and limitations, incorporating evidence-based methodologies.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being.
• Provide clinical consultation to the healthcare team regarding each patient's continuum of care.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and complies with applicable laws and professional standards.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness and provide education regarding physical health and rehabilitation options.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and make necessary adjustments to optimize patient recovery while meeting productivity standards.
• Attend staff meetings and engage in continuous professional development through self-study, in-services, and relevant training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients experiencing a range of orthopedic issues, including post-operative care, injury rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse population, ensuring that culturally sensitive practices are integrated into treatment plans. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Competence in computer and word processing skills for clinical documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While a Bachelor's Degree is required, candidates with prior experience in a rehabilitation setting or specialized training in orthopedics are preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
