Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital, rewarding role providing essential educational services as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a contract position this fall. This opportunity spans August 3 through November 30, covering a maternity leave for a total of 65 days and offers a unique hybrid format. You'll make a positive difference across several schools, enhancing early learning for students in need of specialized support.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state Special Education teaching certification, with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement strongly preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a special education environment, including developing and implementing IEPs
• Ability to travel locally to multiple school sites as needed (Monday-Thursday, in person for services and assessments)
• Proficiency completing paperwork, writing reports, and managing virtual IEP meetings in a remote setting
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in both face-to-face and remote educational environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized early childhood special education services in person at designated schools
• Assess, plan, and implement educational goals for students, conducting regular progress evaluations
• Create and maintain compliant IEP documentation, and participate virtually in meetings with parents and/or multidisciplinary teams
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff to support optimal learning outcomes
• Maintain a professional, organized approach to paperwork and service delivery, both onsite and remotely

This is a four-day workweek (Monday-Thursday) for a total of 32 hours weekly, allowing for a balanced and flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact.
