Customer Logistics Manager - Dedicated Transportation

The Manager, Customer Logistics will oversee the day‑to‑day operations within an assigned function and is responsible for all aspects of Operations and Account Management. Mainly responsible for the leadership of direct reports as well as the attainment of daily operational goals within his/her assigned functional area. Responsibilities Customer service satisfaction and expectation management Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non‑exempt employees Manage day‑to‑day planning and scheduling Health and Safety Management State/Local/Federal regulations compliance Perform other duties as assigned Make decisions in a timely manner Provide off‑shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis Support fast‑paced, multi‑tasking work environment Maintain relations with all levels of the organization, including peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors Work independently and as part of a team Employ strong oral and written communication skills Skills & Abilities Ability to work within international functional teams High‑level analytical ability for unusual and difficult problems Demonstrated technical and professional skills in the job‑related area Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time‑management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required (advanced) Logistics industry knowledge required (advanced) Knowledge and understanding of customer and company local and federal regulations required (advanced) Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components required (intermediate) Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production required (advanced) Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry‑related field required One (1) year or more direct supervisory or leadership experience required Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required (advanced) Logistics industry knowledge required (advanced) Knowledge and understanding of customer and company local and federal regulations required (advanced) Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components required (intermediate) Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production required (advanced) Benefits Ryder offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, prescription, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, paid time off for vacation, illness, bereavement, family and parental leave, and a tax‑advantaged 401(k) retirement savings plan. Compensation Salaried position with a minimum pay range of $70,000 and a maximum pay range of $78,000. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level and/or type.
