Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Physical Therapist at Valera Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and implementing personalized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, aimed at minimizing disability and enhancing physical function.
• Supervising and guiding Physical Therapy Assistants in the execution of treatment protocols, ensuring adherence to specific care plans.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities through various diagnostic tests, providing insights into their functional mobility.
• Assessing the home environment to make appropriate recommendations that increase patient independence and support their rehabilitation journey.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual treatments, and modalities such as traction and massage while monitoring patient progress.
• Fitting and adjusting orthotic and prosthetic devices and advising the medical team on necessary modifications.
• Documenting clinical records meticulously, including evaluations, progress notes, care plans, and discharge summaries.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Maintaining clear lines of communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare providers to foster a collaborative care network.
• Coordinating with other team members to ensure seamless continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Valera Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
